RAADS-R Test Platform

AboutRAADS-R Test Platform

We are committed to making scientifically validated autism screening accessible to everyone. Our platform is built on decades of clinical research and designed to provide reliable, free self-assessment tools for adults worldwide.

Our Mission

Autism in adults remains significantly underdiagnosed. Many adults β€” particularly women, people of color, and those in regions without specialist access β€” live without understanding why they experience the world differently. Our mission is to bridge this gap by providing free, evidence-based screening tools in multiple languages.

Free Access

The core RAADS-R assessment is always free. We believe cost should never be a barrier to understanding yourself.

Multilingual

Available in 13 languages to serve a global community. Autism does not recognize language or cultural boundaries.

Evidence-Based

Built on the RAADS-R, a clinically validated instrument with 97% sensitivity, published in peer-reviewed research.

Privacy-First

Your data belongs to you. We minimize data collection and never sell personal information to third parties.

Scientific Methodology

The RAADS-R (Ritvo Autism Asperger Diagnostic Scale-Revised) is a self-report instrument specifically designed for adults. It was developed by Dr. Riva Ariella Ritvo and colleagues at Yale University School of Medicine and published in the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders.

39 Q

Social Relatedness

Measures difficulties with social interaction, understanding social norms, and forming relationships. This dimension covers 39 questions and is typically the highest-scoring area.

14 Q

Circumscribed Interests

Assesses focused or intense interests, rigid routines, and resistance to change. This dimension includes 14 questions about patterns of interest and behavior.

7 Q

Language

Evaluates pragmatic language use, literal interpretation, and communication style. This 7-question dimension captures language-related autism traits.

20 Q

Sensory Motor

Measures sensory sensitivities and motor coordination differences. The 20 questions in this dimension address sensory processing across multiple modalities.

Each of the 80 questions is scored 0-3 based on lifetime experience. 16 questions are reverse-scored as they describe non-symptom behaviors. The total possible score is 240, with a clinical threshold of 65 points.

The RAADS-R is a screening tool, not a diagnostic instrument. Results should be interpreted by a qualified healthcare professional.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our platform

Who developed the RAADS-R test?

The RAADS-R was developed by Dr. Riva Ariella Ritvo and colleagues at Yale University School of Medicine. It was published in 2011 in the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders and has since been widely adopted in clinical and research settings.

Is this a medical diagnosis?

No. The RAADS-R is a validated screening tool, not a diagnostic instrument. While it has 97% sensitivity for detecting autism, only qualified healthcare professionals can provide a formal diagnosis. We recommend discussing your results with a clinician.

How is the AI-powered analysis generated?

Our optional premium analysis uses advanced AI to provide a personalized interpretation of your scores across all four dimensions. The AI considers your specific score patterns, dimensional profile, and relevant research context to generate insights. This analysis supplements, but does not replace, professional clinical evaluation.

Why is the test free?

We believe that access to mental health screening should not depend on financial resources. The core RAADS-R assessment and basic score interpretation are always free. We offer an optional paid AI analysis for those who want deeper insight, which also helps sustain the platform.

How accurate is the RAADS-R?

The RAADS-R has been validated with 97% sensitivity (it correctly identifies 97% of autistic individuals). Specificity varies by score range: scores below 65 have high specificity, the 65-105 range is a 'gray zone' with lower specificity, and scores above 106 return to 81% specificity.

Can I take the test in my language?

Yes. Our platform supports 13 languages: English, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Vietnamese, and Arabic. All translations maintain the clinical accuracy of the original assessment.
